About This Project

Site development enhancements for the Lake View Lodge at Beavers Bend State Park are a component of the substantial lodge upgrade. The purpose of these improvements includes converting the existing lodge into a memorable regional destination attraction. Site development will enhance the arrival experience with a rustic porte-cochere, requiring intense regrading of the road and east side of the lodge. Improved parking with ADA accessible sidewalks along with enhanced landscape will provide an outstanding arrival experience for lodge guests.

The main site/landscape improvements include a lake overlook terrace from floor level of the interior group commons area. Stairs lead from the terrace to a lower patio area supported by a boulder retaining wall. The lower patio includes seating, fire pit, outdoor fireplace and grilling area all with a great vista of the lake. A unique covered commons area is included under the upper terrace.
