At LandPlan Consultants, Inc., we are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us. If there are any terms in this privacy policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our website and services.

This policy may be updated as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. Please check here frequently for updated information.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

Voluntarily Provided

In general, we collect personal information that you may disclose to us voluntarily through a contact form or direct email sent to one of our staff or other general email. That information depends on the context of your interactions with us and can include the following:

Along with publicly available information we may collect first name, maiden name, last name, and nickname; email addresses; phone numbers; and other similar data. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Automatically Collected

Additionally, some information — such as IP address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services. We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the website. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our website, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Cookies and similar technologies

Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies that may include device and application information; tools and protocols, such as IP (Internet Protocol) addresses; cookie identifiers, or others such as the ones used for analytics and marketing; and other similar data. Such technologies may be used to access and store information.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Comments

For areas where the website allows comments to be posted, when visitors leave comments on the website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

External Content

If there is embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) on this website, embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

If this website includes advertisements now or in the future, advertising opt-out information can be found here http://www.aboutads.info/choices/.
